Biafra: We Are Almost There – Nnamdi Kanu Tells Supporters

Mazi-Nnamdi-Kanu

Leader of the indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu has commended his followers for continuingwith the pro-Biafra agitation.

Kanu, who is facing criminal charges before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja delivered his message through the group’s spokespersons.
According to IPOB spokespersons, Dr. Clifford C. Iroanya and Barr. Emma Mmezu, the detained Radio Biafra director gave the message during a solidarity visit to him in the prison.

They quoted him as saying:
“I wish to commend and congratulate millions of IPOBians the world over, whose tenacity and exemplary steadfastness to the course is and will always remain a great source of joy and inspiration for me.
“It is noteworthy and very commendable, that despite the spirited antics of our adversaries, the struggle has gathered the desired, awareness, momentum, sympathy and outright support, way beyond our expectations.

“Your total commitment to the struggle and your determination and focus as a well disciplined mass movement has gotten the attention of the world and frightened the enemy stiff.

“As our journey to the promised land progresses beautifully, since we left Egypt, it is important to always remind ourselves that our progeny will forever remain grateful to us for our many sacrifices today. We are almost there.

“As the oppressor panic, they unwittingly wobble from one blunder to another, time is running out and Pharaoh and his army clearly has no choice than to let my people go. I remain very proud of you all. Thank you.”

I dey laugh u in Latin!!!

  9. @David Anuwe, you are myopic in reasoning does mean if Biafrans have investment in the north we shouldn’t fight for our freedom? Do you value investment than freedom?you can take our investment and give us our freedom. After the war 1970 Awolowo the finance minister gave £20 to every Igbo man no matter the amount you have in the bank, and declared all the properties out side Igbo land Abounded properties but today an average Igbo man that has his Igbo identity are far much better than every other Nigeria…

  10. Why them? Are u not among?

  11. It does not matter Obasanjo was in prison before and came out and become president of Nigeria so his not the first person to go jail,we still love him his our hero at list world knows Biafra now through him.he command more than 30 millions people which nobody have done in history of Nigeria

  12. Enyinwa Okechukwu Enyinwa

Nope! I will be among them when they stop selling ideas without insults.. Am yet to meet a reasonable one of them..

Love him or hate him, it’s only a matter of opinion. However, I have come to love Nnamdi Kanu’s courage and desire for his people.
While taking some government/history classes back then in secondary school, the textbook we used described Igbos as Acephalous, fragmented and an ununited race (that is a federal government recognized textbook). This notion continued to be sown in the minds of every Nigerian child, even among the igbos themselves. That’s why it was easy to see an igbo man shamelessly say, “igbos sef hate themselves, they’re not united”… However, the coming of Nnamdi Kanu and his philosophy, changed that mindset among the igbos, and Nigeria at large. People can now see that the igbos can come together to pursue a common cause. Every igbo man now knows that his brother has got his back. Confidence has returned to the minds of the people that we are not a disunited entity like they made us believe. Nnamdi kanu has changed history. He was able to do all these with little or no funds. That’s the stuff of a great man! He has more integrity than the over 300+ senators and house-of-rep members put together. He is a man of his people.
I really don’t expect a Hausa or Yoruba man to love him, because his purpose has no direct impact to them. Same way I don’t expect any igbo man to helplessly talk about Awolowo or Ladi Kwali, because their goodwill didn’t really impact the igbos.
With that being said, I hope we can all look at the positives in every situation.
Love him or hate him, Nnamdi kanu remains a great man!

Even thou he is in prison…re you better than him…

  15. Just imagine how many christmas,Easter and new year Nelson Mandela missed for 27 years but at the end he prevailed, as for treason, that is nonsense,it is obvious that buhari and Nigerian government have no case against him,if they do why have they not presented the evidence all this while? but of course people are watching. It is only naive people that believes that someone asking for their right is treason, buhari committed what is called treason when he said he will make Nigeria ungovernable, buhari committed treason when he said baboons will be soaked in their own blood, that is what treason means, buhari committed treason when he said he will continue to propagate sharia in Nigeria without considering the fact that over 80 to 100 million Nigerians are not muslims. Nigerians needs to wake up from idiocy and start speaking the truth.

  16. Nnamdi Kanu is a powerful civilian that command more than 30 million people around the globe and his people love him and ready to die for him,no amount of intimidation we stop Biafra restoration this time because Biafra ideology can never be defeated…

  17. Chibuike Thaddeus Duru

  21. Even if they have investment allover the country haven you seen foreigners investing into other countries

  22. Everyone understands the truth about Biafra nation once they hear it but the question remains, who will accept the truth when liars is busy dancing at the front of our eyes? people always go where there is liars not where there is truth because truth hurts. if one can run from truth then how can you love God?

  23. BIAFRA…………… I will always support the igbo……….. Will always luv their courage
I heard about the Biafra war……… Despite been a yoruba guy……. I c wat we call unity for the struggle……..
    Ojukwu stood for Equity
May God bless the Igbo who lost dem lives in d struggle…….

  24. Biafra till Death #AllHailBiafra

  25. Morenikeji S. Dammy

@ Nelson Mandela didn’t say they would turn southafrica into dust, he didn’t say they need America and Britain to give them arms to fight his country he didn’t insult the den president on sit, he didn’t call his country a zoo he didn’t say he would wage war on his country and Mandela wasn’t fighting to break from southafrica that’s why he’s called father of all nation cos his agitation was for peace not war am not here to argue u have made ur point let’s see how it goes.

  30. Morenikeji S. Dammy and where were you when buhari called you as a Nigerian a baboon and said you will be soaked in your own blood? where were you when he said he will make your country Nigeria ungovernable and he went ahead and did so? And you are telling me he said they need America to give them arms, then what is the Nigerian government waiting for? they should use that as evidence to prosecute him, provide the proof of the arms or provide any prove where IPOB has killed any Nigerian. We just want to leave Nigeria peacefully but then we cannot fold our hands and watch what happened in the past repeat, time shall tell anyway.

  31. José Ernest Okocha

Kanu is a boil in the ass. Condemn him, it won’t save Nigeria unity, Set him free, it won’t stop Biafra. So…. he wins in whichever way you look at it.

  32. Morenikeji S. Dammy

@ Peter let’s see how it goes we are all just saying our opinions based on what they tell us not dt any of us really knows what’s happening

  41. You are a reasonable igbo man have ever seen Enyinwa Okechukwu Enyinwa

  42. @David Anuwe,Radio Biafra was on Air during Jonathan tenor but he ignored it because he knows that self determination and freedom of speech is allowed but Buhari Dictator came to power and ordered Dss to arrest our Leader Nnamdi Kanu of Indigenous people of Biafra who commands over 30 million people around the globe that’s what trigger our agitation more.yes not all Igbo is clamouring for Biafra restoration, one thing you have to know is “There are People who will never fight for freedom. There are People who will seek profit for themselves alone from the struggle. There are even some People who will cooperate with their oppressors.90% of Igbo has freedom DNA on them other 10% are those who is govern by Hausa.
